Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJP Rohilkhand University) was established in 1975 as an affiliating university. It is a NAAC A++ accredited, ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 certified university. Spread over approximately two hundred and six acres, this residential university is located on the Bareilly-Pilibhit road, a little away from Bareilly city. The university has affiliated colleges spread across nine districts of western Uttar Pradesh, covering an area of 31,287 square kilometers and a population of over three million (27,435,583 as per 2011 census).[1] (Bareilly, Budaun, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Bijnor, Amroha) with over 500 affiliated colleges.
