Admission Process and Guidelines
- The admission of the candidate will be done only on the recommendation of the Admission Committee constituted by the Principal
- 2. Admission will be made purely on the basis of merit.
- 3. For admission, it is mandatory for the student to appear in person before the Admission Committee.
- 4. It will be mandatory for the candidate to appear at the time of admission interview with original copies of all his/her certificates/mark sheets.
- 5. No student will be admitted in any one subject.
- 6. After recommendation for admission, the admission fee must be deposited by the due date, otherwise the admission will be considered cancelled.
- 7. Candidate found guilty of using unfair means (UFM) will not be eligible for admission.
- 8. Candidates who have been convicted or are facing trial in any criminal case or whose conduct is questionable will not be admitted.
- 9. Any information found to be incorrect regarding admission will result in cancellation of admission. 10. Information regarding all college activities will be displayed on the notice board.
- 10. The Chairman of the Admission Committee reserves the right to admit or reject any candidate and only the subject allotted by the Admission Committee will be valid.
- 11. The decision of the Admission Committee regarding preparation of merit list and admission will be final.
- 12. For admission to BA first year, minimum 40% marks in Intermediate will be mandatory.
- 13. It will be mandatory to pass the Environmental Studies examination at the graduate level.
Admission Process
Candidates can obtain admission forms by paying the prescribed fee of Rs 100 at the office counter. All candidates should carefully study the brochure before filling out the application form and fill it accordingly. Students will be admitted to the college according to their acquired qualifications/standards set by the Uttar Pradesh government and the university. The decision of the admission committee constituted for admission will be final. Students should select subjects according to their qualifications and the number of available seats. Only fully completed applications with the required certificates will be accepted; incomplete applications will not be accepted
Appearance
Students will attend classes regularly and study. As per university guidelines, students will not be permitted to take exams if their attendance falls below 75%, and the total number of teaching days will be at least 180. In accordance with university rules, students will not be permitted to take exams if their attendance is low.

The University Grants Commission receives a number of representations/complaints from students/parents regarding non-refund of fees on cancellation/withdrawal of admission by Higher Educational Institutions.
- 1. Full fees should be refunded to the students within a stipulated period so that they can choose the course of their choice.
- 2. The Commission considered the matter in its meeting held in May 2024 and after considering the relevant factors, decided the following fee refund policy with effect from the academic session 2024-25:
- Notwithstanding anything contained in any guidelines/statements/notifications/schedules, all cancellations of admission/transfer of students will be subject to full refund of fees by the Higher Educational Institutions and a deduction of not more than Rs. 1000.00 as processing fee.
- It will apply to all higher educational institutions, whether established or incorporated under a Central Act or a State Act, and to every institution recognised by the UGC Act, 1956 and all institutions declared to be deemed to be a University under Section 3 and to all higher educational institutions affiliated to a University.
- These guidelines will also apply to organisations, associations, committees, associations, etc., formed for the purpose of conducting counselling or admission process and collecting fees on behalf of the participating higher education institutions, and the concerned higher education institution will be responsible for fee refund.
- For admission programmes commencing after 31st October 2024, the provisions contained in the UGC notification issued in October 2018 on fee refund and non-retention of original certificates will apply (reproduced below for ready reference).
- 3 This policy will remain in force for the upcoming academic sessions till the revised policy is issued by UGC.

- 4. UGC has notified Student Grievance Redressal Regulations-2023, which states that “delay or denial of refund of fees to a student who withdraws admission within the time mentioned in the prospectus shall be treated as a grievance.
- 5. The Institute shall ensure compliance with the Fee Refund Policy from the academic session 2024-25 and redress any grievances as per the provisions of the UGC (Redressal of Students' Grievances) Regulations-2023.
- 6. Any higher education institution violating the provisions of the UGC Fee Refund Policy 2024-25 will be subject to penal action as notified in Section 5 of the UGC Notification for Fee Refund and Non-Retention of Original Certificates issued in October 2018.
